Description

The QSFP28 SWDM4 transceiver is a 100 Gbit/s pluggable module for 100GBASE Ethernet. The transceiver operates with four parallel data streams of 25.78 Gbps in order to provide an aggregated signaling rate of 103.125 Gbps. The four lanes are launched with center wavelengths of 850 nm, 880 nm, 910 nm and 940 nm and multiplexed onto single mode fiber. On the receive side, the four lanes of optical data streams are de-multiplexed by the transceiver and retimed.

The module is fully compliant with all QSFP28 related MSA described in SFF-8665 and Digital Diagnostic functions are available through an I2C interface. QSFP28-SWDM4 complies with 100Gbase-SWDM4 MSA.
