22. December 2009 by Gracie.
ey everybody. As you could tell by the title of this little thing that I’m writing I am officially thinkin and sometimes that just doesn’t turn out too well but I think it’s OK this time. See, I was thinking about two things, Christmas and my blog and then I thought, hmmmm. What about that video camera and bamboo I got last year? I could use those on my blog and it would look really cool. I’m gonna try on my testing page. I’m only gonna try the bamboo part so her goes nothing. I’ll talk to you after I’m finished trying.
Love ya,
Gracie

Places to go during holiday seasons
9. December 2009 by Gracie.
There are places to go for the Holiday seasons
They’re special to me for all different reasons
But the thing that is best it is number one
Ther’s no time for rest just for holiday fun
Sit by thr fire, laugh on the floor
Give hugs and kisses on the way out the door
My Grandmother smiles, and I hate to say bye
But I have to go home, so I have to try
I feel kinda tired and I want to go to sleep
But I still have it in me for the holiday feast
With my father in mind, I turn out the light
What special places he takes me on Christmas Eve night
I hope you like my poetry. I’m not the best. Sorry. It’s a snowday today! YAY! I’ve been working really hard on the blog for you all and I’m knitting a neckwarmer so there. There are some special places to go on Christmas Eve like to Auntie’s if she lives nearby, but always remember, stay close to home, because Christmas time is all about being with family and if your teenage daughter asks to go to her friends hous for Christmas Eve day, tell her that she’s grounded after the holiday season becaasue of how rude she is. You should spend quality time with your children on Christmas Eve. Especially when you hardly see them because of work.
see ya,
Gracie

My mother
8. November 2009 by Gracie.
I have a poem, that all kids can give to their mother’s if they don’t have a present for their mother on mother’s day. Here is the poem. I wrote it, and so, if you ever see this poem and a lovely bunch of flowers that you just incidentally have in your garden and you have a animal problem that eats all of your flowers, and there’s this lovely poem attached remember this: SLAP YOUR CHILD’S BEHIND AND CANCEL YOUR NEXT APPOINTMENT WITH THE LANDSCAPERS! Here is the poem:
My mother is the worst, her teeth are rotten from eating starburst
O mother of mine, you make the thunder clouds roll in and cover the sun. (I know it doesn’t rhyme)
My mother I appreciate because she always makes me late
It has taught me to be rude and unkind, so that I can cut in the waterfountain line
Every day, when it’s time for school, she just let’s us sleep in bed and drool.
F.Y.I This poem was made up of complete imagination, and my mother is really the best and she hates starburst, so here is the real poem:
My mother is great, her work I appreciate
O mother of mine, you make my sun shine
My goodness, do I wish I had another sentence that started with M
It has taught me to be smart and kind, so in school I don’t fall behind
Every day she does the dishes, O mother, to you I give my best Christmas wishes
-Grace. D
Love you mom,
Gracie
