This converter module converts a CFP port into a QSFP28 port. It gives customers the flexibility to use the 100 Gigabit CFP interface port of a switch with QSFP28 modules. It supports both 100 Gigabit Ethernet and OTU4.
This flexibility is useful when a specific type of interface is not available as a CFP module or when customers want to use the same form factor for interfaces across multiple platforms deployed in their network.
