The SFP56 SR transceiver is a short range 50 Gbit/s pluggable optical module for data communications such as 50GBASE Ethernet.
The module is fully compliant with all SFP56 related MSA standards and Digital Diagnostic functions are available through an I2C interface. SFP56-50G-SR complies with IEEE 802.3 and 50Gbase-SR.
