The SFP-GE-FE-FX transceivers are fully compliant with the latest industrial SFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA). and are designed for SGMII MAC interface to 100BASE-FX (The SGMII MAC Interface implements a modified 1000BASE-X Auto-Negotiation to indicate link, duplex, and peed to the MAC). The transceiver consists of the standard SFP part, the PHY part build with SGMII interface, the 1310 nm FP laser and the PIN photo-detector. The modules are hot pluggable and can transmit over 2 km of 50/125 µm MM fiber.
